Shock, he's human. Therefore full of hubris and convinced of his

infallibility. His DNA work was remarkable, but that might naturally make him predisposed to think DNA is the ultimate controller of all our characteristics? Honestly, he also sounds angry, bitter, perhaps even somewhat demented, because his claims aren't backed by science.
