Which post are we talking about, the Lebron James one?
If so, I upvoted it cause it made me chuckle. I'm not in agreement w/ the idea of a 70% rate on income over $5 mil, but it's been that high in the past and I agree it's not going to stop people who make that amount and higher (as income) from doing what they do.
It's not a great way to raise revenue if that's the goal because it wouldn't bring in much, and "fairness" wise I don't really like the idea of anything above 50%, but it's not completely unprecedented moonbat shit. I do think "income inequality" is a problem because it puts a strain on the cohesiveness of society (which actually can be construed as conservative in some ways), but it's less about the absolute inequality from the very top to the bottom and more about stagnation in the lower end and middle. Talking tax brackets too I do think there should be some sort of distinction between making, say $300k and $5+ mil a year given how expensive cost of living is in the cities where people have those types of salaries.
