Again, I think you're kidding yourself. The left is the one that highlights

her. The stupid chit she says, and how the left buys in (a la all the candidates that are on board with the Green New Deal) is what allows the Right wing media to jump on board to mock her and those ideas. If the right just wanted a boogeyman, they would be better served by using someone like Tlaib or Omar if we're just thinking about first termers, but most don't even know hoo they are. Why is it the average Joe wouldn't even know those names? Perhaps they haven't been pimped as hard as AOC as the face of the New Dem Party? Or my gal Maxine, Nancy, Lizzie, etc. as faces of the Dem party. All of those would be better suited for boogeyman status than AOC.

And if you think they're doing that just to divert attention away from the things you mention, I again think you're kidding yourself. They could do that with a car chase, or simply spinning it or choosing other stories like the left wing media does. But I guess you can thank AOC for giving them such an easy target.
