It’s also a gut wrenching decision to terminate


a pregnancy for an embryo that didn’t properly implant and would have been expelled in pieces. My wife chose a DNC to spare her the trauma going through that. I remember being numb as I took my wife for her procedure. We were both devastated and I assure you the last thing we wanted was to “kill our own child”. We would have given anything to instead have had a healthy pregnancy (it would have been our first child). I don’t know how I would have reacted if my wife was confronted and harassed on her way to the procedure, but it would have taken every ounce of willpower to not strangle those sanctimonious, taliban motherfuckers with my bare hands.

Thankfully we had two successful pregnancies after that (where we also had no intention of “killing our own child”) and now have healthy 11 and 13 year old boys.
