You are free to inform me if it wasn’t correct but you can’t tell me what I heard & saw.
It’s my understanding that the nazi’s or whatever that group of idiots was called going to the campus had a permit. If nobody had engaged them there is no way they would’ve beat up anyone. They would have gone in, vented their frustrations, whatever they may be and left. I don’t support those idiots at all. I also don’t give a crap about the statues. If someone finds it offensive get rid of it. That goes for statues, tomahawk chops, rebel flags, mascot names, the use of a religious symbols, it doesn’t matter to me. I don’t care.
However, I will always support someone’s right to protest no matter how much I might disagree with that group. That did not happen in Charlottesville that day. To claim it didn’t is revisionist history writing.
