I suspect the Amazon deal would have been far more transformative to

the borough, city, and state than this Nike deal was supposed to be. But otherwise, no difference. One state let liberal political pandering kill its deal and all the attending jobs and revenue, and the other let its conservative pandering do the same thing.

In neither case is it any skin off the companys' backs.
