While it would be nice to get rid of all of that anachronistic garbage

they still have to sort out the taxation aspect. Many on-line transactions today are not subject to sales tax. Since a microbrewery or winery would almost by definition not have a physical presence in any state but its own, they're going to have to figure out some way to collect the (in many cases considerable) taxes.

For this article to not even mention the word tax, well, I guess that's what I should expect from USAT.
