As for your 2nd point, which really isn't much different than what Hoodeac is pushing, those pushing this are fully aware of what the term Concentration Camp connotes to most now, just as most are fully aware of what the swastika connotes regardless of how it was first used. There is a reason AOC (and those pushing this garbage) chose the term Concentration Camp rather than internment camp, detention centers, etc. And it had nothing to do with how Concentration Camps first operated as. And it's shameful that they're so willing to do so.
