It’s not about disagreement. It’s about willful ignorance


Ignoring facts and science, and believing pathological liars just because of political party affiliations or worse. The same people here babbling the same nonsense day after day no matter what facts they are shown.
It would be really nice if this board could be a forum to discuss different opinions, even different interpretations of what the fax might mean, a place where we could all learn from each other. I have lots of friends who consider themselves conservative and vote Republican. Most of them see the world pretty clearly and have values virtually the same as mine. They don’t believe That the other side is the devil, that “liberalism” is a disease or evil. They know as I know that they were bad politicians in each party. And more and more of them are recognizing what an anomaly Trump is, that he is more than just another bad politician.

Once in a while we do have good discussions here until inevitably they are ruined by the handful of trolls who pollute this board. But more often, we just get willful ignorance coupled with misogyny and bigotry,
