IMHO, I think some people of white descent are tired of the diversity requirements for employment, promotions and gaining admittance to colleges. They believe there is an equal field today for women and minorities. This is only one of many things.

IMHO, having these feelings does not make them a racist. Everyone is entitled to their feelings whether right or wrong. For example with my life experiences, if companies need to discipline a low performing minority or women, they tread lightly or do nothing because they are afraid of being sued. I think that is wrong for companies to have such a fear. Follow company policy with good documentation and get rid of any low performer after giving them a chance with documented mentoring. Otherwise, this is going to make some people who have seen what I have in the corporate world think it is unfair but not make them a racist.

I do believe if you do not like minorities and gays, you are most likely to support the republican party on those reasons alone. With gays, it could be based on your religious beliefs.

Now, I do believe minorities can be racist to. It works both ways. Therefore, the democratic party has racists supporting them.

We have come so far on race relations but still have room for improvement. Both parties have racists. I just wish we could accept both parties have them and work on the "room for improvement".

No need to give me a percentage if you prefer not. Trump supporters have many reasons to support him which are not racial in nature.
