no one stops people from buying groceries, buying a cell phone, going on the net, buying a big screen, getting a degree, starting a bank account, etc.. Are there instances where rubes, or ingrates harass individuals for their beliefs or skin color or what have you, sure. Are people victims of crime regardless of their race, creed or religion sure. But we are not a perfect society, and lord knows I would bet ovewhelmingly its 98% or higher that people are treated better here than most anywhere in the world. Because instead of bitching about, the less than 1% of bad actors, I've actually lived on the economy in the world and in some shit hole countries. Thats why the majority of people, even yes by gawd minority religions and ethnicities dont protest here, they know its way worse in lots of places in this world.
