IIRC, I believe they bankrolled some anti-gay-marriage advocacy groups too

and that was the bigger issue, but don't quote me on that. It's been a while and never was that big a deal. My kids will actually eat Chick Fil A and my wife and I don't find it disgusting so it's a road trip staple for us, religious fanaticism notwithstanding. :)
