Are we that big of a joke that even Turkey scoffs at our threats?

This isn't the Soviet Union. This isn't China. This is Turkey ... the former Ottoman Empire. The last time they showed any independent military might was 1916 in the Battle of Gallipoli.

In less than 12 hours, Turkey mobilized forces along the 200 mile Syrian border where the Kurds reside. Before the withdrawal, President Trump made this warning to Turkey:

"I told Turkey if they do anything outside of what we think is humane ... they could suffer the wrath of an extremely decimated economy."

Trump's response to Turkey's defiance to America's threat, "this operation is a bad idea." Nothing else.

LOL. Make America Great Again? Even Turkey scoffs at our threats ... and then we invited them over in November. That's equivalent to some little dude stealing our girlfriend and then inviting him over for dinner to explain how our feelings hurt.
