consumer. NBA cowardance the past 2 weeks has been absolutely shameful. There are not 2 sides to this like there are not 2 sides to the Holocaust or 2 sides to slavery. There is a right side and a wrong side, and sometimes it's just so easy to see which is which that even trying to make some kind of "both sides" argument says all you need to know about whomever is talking.

Owning a small business has also affected my outlook on this. It's CONSTANT work to keep the lights on, payroll made, facility kept up, etc ... literally always something that comes up. So I try and by local and buy domestic as much as possible. That doesn't mean we don't get Amazon packages all the time - we still have a 5 month old, 3 businesses, and don't always have time to find a local business or domestically produced alternative - but if everyone could alter their buying habits just 10-20% of the time with a special emphasis on buying local, it would make a huge impact.
