We know why Trump did it. He was trying to change the news cycle.


He literally talked to no one except Erdogan before he made the surprise decision. Congress was on recess. No one in the Pentagon knew.

Trump is incapable of empathy. Everything is about himself. If thousands of Kurds die so he can get positive news coverage, he'll do it. The Moron thought keeping his promise of leaving endless wars would get public praise. Only when Republican Senators rebuked his ass did he try to get a ceasefire. Even then, he's talking about a child sandlot fight and great deal when people are dying. He only cares about how he's feeling. He couldn't care less about the Kurds.
