Oh yeah they still have the Eskimo but they fly a lot more places now.

I still use them for trips to Arizona and our annual fishing trip to Yakutat (that flight is a milk-run...Seattle to Juneau to Yakutat and then on to Cordova and Anchorage...but it's always full and they take good care of your coolers packed with salmon). Interesting that you came in 1980. That's actually the year I moved to the area from Charlottesville.

The best times to visit for weather typically are between July 4 and October 31 (not always as witnessed by our experience with last week's rain storm known as the Pineapple Express), though in recent years May and June have been pretty nice, too. November to January are usually dreary and the remainder of the year unreliable if you only have a week. :)
