He was no longer working at the White House. He was back at the CIA. There is no reason he would "need to know", other than to be Brennan's tool of course. Furthermore, this is a Presidential call, so it would be covered by Executive Privilege. No one other than POTUS can release that to this guy, no matter how much one claims he "needed to know", especially since he wouldn't have even known what was on the call to ask for it. The only reason it even (possibly) had to be released to even the Congressional Intel community was because of this guy's whistleblower complaint (again, wonder why that mechanism was used, and be more skeptical), and the only reason they (and we) saw it (without a court battle) was because POTUS waived that privilege and released it.

Because it was a "perfect call". :-) Yes, that part was a joke, but don't for a second think that decision wasn't reviewed by WH counsel, his personal attorneys, and folks like Pompeo and possibly Barr before doing so. And yet they still released it. Seems a rather odd decision if this thing was even half what the left try to claim it is.
