It sure is. The subjects of Trumpistan ignore a mountain of evidence of
Trump's abuses of power with Ukraine. They literally deny the meaning of simple English.
Guy 1: I really, really need something
Guy 2: Yeah, uh huh. Hey, so let's talk about this favor I need.
Never before in the history of the English language would that simple sequence have been seen as anything but a demand for a quid before Guy 2 supplies the quo. Do my favor, and I'll give that something you really, really need. It's as simple as "See Spot Run". But Trumpistan keeps saying "read the transcript", like "See Spot Run" really means, "I need to pee".
As if that's not enough, there are now multiple examples of corroboration of this in testimony.
Yet, as a result of the absurd partisanship you correctly point out, words no longer mean what they always have, corroborating testimony is simply ignored, and Trump and his minions simply bend reality to their purposes. It is amazing to watch - never thought I'd see it in this country.
Well, at least there is a glimmer of hope that some repubs exist outside Trumpistan. They at least acknowledge the clear, already indisputable evidence of Trump's abuse of power, and claim it's wrong but not impeachable, or it was accidentally brought about by the complete incompetence of the Trumpistani Royal Court.
For the record, when the Durham thing became a criminal inquiry, that's all I heard. Just that it was now criminal, could issue subpoenas, etc. Haven't heard anything since.
The need Trumpies have to feel victimized - unreal. Part of why you dovetail so neatly into head-up-his-ass devotion, I guess. Trump is tailor made for snowflakes in constant need of imaginary persecutors. He makes up scapegoats and really really scary enemies daily.
