Trump appeals NY tax case to Supreme Court. How likely is it they will

agree to hear the case? To me this is like a death row inmate appealing his case out of desperation on some bizarre logic. They never get heard. This is the president so they will think about it twice, but is there an interesting question or a close call here? It doesn't seem that way to me.

In any event, when will we know if they will hear the case?
