Intelligence has never been a qualification deemed an important quality in

most politicians. It’s almost exclusively a beauty/popularity/party affiliation contest. Just think of the typical keeping up with kardashian viewer. Clearly intelligence wasn’t a factor considered by Trump’s base, or if so was quickly dismissed. Ignorance and willful ignorance appear to be defining characteristics of most of his base!
