Nunes wrote that last night, thinking the day was going to go much


differently than it did. He meant that the Dems were going to smear Sondland.

(He didn't get any advance copy of Sondland's opening statement and thus was hearing it in real time this AM).

That he stuck with his prepared remarks in the face of that is evidence of his inability to think on his feet.
