So your answer is "no", you don't have support for that statement.

Now you're back to cherry-picking things like "heart attack survival rates" as if that has all that much to do with our healthcare system (and even getting that wrong -- we have higher than average death rates across the board in CVD and other categories). You're also ignoring the host of other reasons we may have a higher "survival rate" of people making it out of an emergency room alive after a heart attack, like the fact that we have a lot more young people having heart attacks and strokes than our peer nations (who do a much better job with preventative care and also tend to have healthier diets and exercise habits, lower obesity rates, etc.) do.

There are indeed "countless studies" about healthcare systems that generally rate ours mediocre to poor on results and DFL on cost efficiency. Yes, we have some of the best high end doctors and facilities in the world -- and those of us who live near them and can afford them get to pay out the nose for excellent care. But it's still a fucked up system and there is really no denying that. Rich people in France and shit dude, Mexico, get access to great healthcare too.

As for what "only a moron" would think -- I'd add believing that 400 million Americans get equal access to the same quality of coverage and care that you and I do to that list. I'd venture to guess only about 50 million of us do. That leaves a lot of people hanging out to dry or living paycheck to paycheck just to pay for insurance.
