This. The Republican party has fallen on moral character so far that

you wouldn't get a conviction with two dozen eye witnesses, video taped confessions and Putin's personal seal of approval. In a time of extreme partisanship such as this you might as well white out that part of the Constitution covering impeachment. It is that meaningless.

The best thing democrats can do is campaign to emphasize all the lying, self-dealing and shady administration figures, overlaying all that with Trump tweets greatest hits of nonsense and personal attacks and ask voters whether mob boss politics and governing by tweet really are the ways we want to set for ourselves. At the end of the day, the average American doesnt give two shits about Ukraine. But just enough people may be tired of the overall antics, chaos and embarrassments he causes on a daily basis.
