We'll see if he's done. He could win by default, or be the choice at a

brokered convention if no winner emerges. Too early to say. Working for Joe is the absence of a clear, strong choice around whom support will coalesce. Warren is not done, but I think her flaws as a candidate are becoming ever clearer, and I don't think she will turn this back around for herself. And I think the Bern's moment passed in 2016, except for the most committed Bern bros. Buttigieg is a very interesting option who is clearly under-qualified (but we don't seem to care about that anymore), and who so far, has limited appeal. If he can get the non-white vote on board, I think he will be the guy. But I don't think that's assured at all. Bloomberg is trying to bull-rush the odds with an avalanche of money. That is unlikely to work. And then it's a question of whether any of the next-tier candidates can catch on. Again, not likely IMO.

So Joe is not done. The answer to your question is that Hunter's Burisma role and compensation was a clear conflict of interest. Nothing, other than repub wishful thinking and love of "witch hunts" that they endlessly bitch about, suggests any further wrongdoing. Biden executed the policy with Ukraine that he was instructed to execute, so very unlike the Trump-Rudy show with Ukraine, he did nothing inconsistent with O Admin policies.

A conflict. That's what you have in the real world. And it's a big deal. In many political eras, it would be a deal breaker for a pres candidate. But if he is the nominee, he will be running against the most conflicted president in history who has made members of his own family, who still benefit from personal business interests (not to mention Trump's own ties to his business), senior members of his administration.

Complaints about conflicts of interest from the Trump admin or his supporters are akin to fish complaining about too much moisture in their homes. Outside of Trumpistan, those complaints can't be taken seriously.
