The surveillance resulted in no charges and by itself ruins nobody's life. It's the Don and his Trumpistanese defenders who've tried so hard to make him a symbol of abuses which have now been debunked by the IG investigation.

Frankly if the Don had never fired Comey, and there had never been a Mueller investigation, it's possible we wouldn't know Page's name. Trump keeps the name at the forefront of our thinking by continually bringing his name up in the latest cherry picking campaign, whereby any pro-dem text by an FBI agent is magnified and any pro-Trump text is ignored. So, if Page's life is ruined, which I suspect it is not, he should say "Thanks Trump!"

Even more laughable is the notion that the man who led "lock her up!" chants at his political pep rallies, and who practically led the lynch mob against the Central Park 5, has any credibility at all to complain about due process towards anyone.
