a little over a month ago. They were already disgruntled. Why the hell did Trump give that oppressive regime a martyr? Now the Iranian people are focusing their anger towards the US again.

IMO, Soleimani is a despicable person. I am no fan of the current regime in Iran. That said, what is our current short and long term strategy in the Middle East. Are we now looking to redo the same deal with Iran that we already had with Obama? Are we pulling out of the Middle East like we did in Syria? What was with the "draft" letter mistakenly sent to Tehran? Are we really thinking of pulling out of Iraq? The Iranians seem to think so with their threats.

Nothing appears coordinated. We don't have a strategy. All we received from the White House was there was imminent danger. We've received more clarity from Iran as our leaders contradict themselves. That's pathetic.

It doesn't take Einstein to figure out that the US can annihilate Iran. We can do the same to North Korea. The key is to stabilize the region ... especially in the Middle East. All we've done in the last 3 months is to create more mayhem. As history proved, if you destroy a regime in the Middle East, 3 more fanatical factions pop up in their place.

We still have no clue of our strategy in the Middle East. One minute, we're pulling out. Next minute, we're killing their generals. A few seconds later, we're threatening Erdogan with a childish letter. Meanwhile the markets and oil prices are going haywire due to the uncertainty. Our actions in the last 3 months have been nothing but nonsense. What has it actually done except create more instability in the region?

I've always been skeptical of the current regime in Iran. They are oppressive who suppress the freedoms and equalities of its people ... as well as wanting to see Americans burn in hell. That said, none of this make sense. Iran would have jumped to the negotiations table without this bullshit. Furthermore, the terrorist organizations Soleimani supported aren't going to stop trying to kill Americans just because he's dead. If we want to stop it, we have to take the entire regime Soleimani served.
