The least likely demographic to vote for a Democrat. And, as you note, probably are trying to make themselves appear nonpartisan (kinda like Dems saying “I’d consider voting for John Kasich”) but will end up doing what they always do and vote for Trump.

A lot of people scratching their heads about why Biden is the presumptive nominee who simply aren’t looking at numbers from minority voters, women, etc.

Personally think it’s nuts for Democrats to bank on converting uneducated white men or driving up turnout among white male millennials. That’s just not how Dems win elections (and certainly not what drove the 2018 beatdown). And Bern turns off as much of the Dem base as support him. Needless to say, I think Bernie would lose bigly. Warren may too, but would make a better president IMHO. But Joe gives everyone an easy reset back to 2016, and I do think thst’s what the Dem voter base is most strongly in favor of. End the nightmare, save the revolution for another day.
