Anyone else wonder if the Russians wanted their hack to be discovered?


At a minimum it works out for them either way. All they want to do is continue to stir the pot. Once they hack their way in and are discovered, they could release true or faked information and it would be feasible that they got it from the hack - making it more believable. Plus, the hack itself is contentious enough.

If they don't get discovered then they can see if there is any information they can use to get their patsy re-elected.
