If they don't agree with the policies of the President (regardless of party) the option they have is to resign. Not make up bullshit to take him/her down. That is anarchy. Even most, if not all of them, said under oath that they could see no crime took place on the call. For Schiff and Nadler & their cronies to cherry pick lines to pursue impeachment with is a disgrace. It has been going on since even before the inauguration. Its not anything new. Just the latest chapter that is aimed to taint this upcoming election. Warch as it spectacularly backfires.

And, as current candidates in the upcoming election against this President, should it not be ethical (as well as required) that the 4 Senators on th e 'jury' recuse themselves from these proceedings as their vote provides them personal gain? Or do you truly believe that they can/will be impartial?

I realize that you sincerely and severely dislike this President. That is perfectly within your rights. But to treat this as some sort of honorable excercise towards justice is very disappointing. The resolution is at the ballot box, not a sham impeachment trial. Out of many on this board, I thought you were a bit wiser and less blindly partisan.
