You know the irony? It's not the people who benefit the most ...

with Trump in office that's the problem. Although we don't like Bernie or Liz (Warren is far more pragmatic than she leads on ... she'll move more to the middle if elected ... she's not stupid), we are fully aware Trump is BAD for the United States. We know he is a crook. We've known it for decades.

The people you have to worry about: they are the Americans who feels disenfranchised. They are the people who Trump helps least but believe in his mythos. They feel appreciated even when Trump's promises ring hollow ... because he talks to them. For decades the Republicans catered to the financially secure ... while the Democrats looked to the academic elites and truly vulnerable. Trump's base came from those who felt ignored.

The moderates showed their cards in 2018 ... and that was before Ukraine. Note: I didn't post on this board until the Ukraine scandal exploded. There are a lot of moderates who are pissed. He's alienated the middle by taking away that option.
