past about 9:50 last night, but man, I don't think I've ever seen a SOTU like that. It was pure, unadulterated campaign speech, all out attack on everything Obama and everything dem. Filled with more than the usual Trumpian hyperbole. Right before I went to sleep, it seemed the repubs were getting a little tired of the endless short standing O's - Trump was having to pause a little more purposely to signal for them.

And the last thing I saw was a group of dems in white standing and delivering some sort of taunt that I couldn't understand. I just don't think I've ever seen that level of disregard for the notion of "we're all Americans in this together" during a SOTU address. We're in a cold civil war. Dem States of America vs Repub States of America.

Here's hoping it doesn't turn hot!
