Exactly. They are coming down but that doesn't mean their reps aren't

arguing for, proposing and passing bills to aim for allowing abortion anytime for any reason. To the cheers of their most extreme and vocal minority. (and the right is doing the same in the opposite direction at the state level)

I agree with the pastor in that article and I think folks like Tulsi get this right, yet can respect the pro-life position. Perhaps if we listened to those calmer voices, rather than the my way or nothing extremes like the vile people that attacked him, or the other extremes we're seeing even in this thread, we could find a reasonable balance. No one is going to get their "my way", but a reasonable compromise we all can live with, and abortions continuing to fall. (which is mostly due to education, attitude, access to contraceptives, etc more than trying to legislate behavior)
