Situational ethics my ass.

First of all and SO obvious as to not have to be mentioned, but who are you and Dan to lecture anyone on the matter of ethics?

As far as I know, Bloomberg is all on the up and up with regard to campaign finance law, regardless of Dan's weak hypotheticals.

With that in mind, in EVERY election, voters have to make the choice on a host candidate characteristics. The best you can hope for is that your choice fulfills most of the things important to you, knowing that there will be compromises on some others. Among those characteristics that would be deal breakers for me are the candidate's character, adherence to the law and respect for constitutional principles, and demonstrated ability to govern.

Something tells me, those things didn't particularly trouble you and Dan or your ethics.
