Bloomberg media blitz working ... up to +200 odds (Bernie at +145)

and next closest is Biden at +750 ... I think the scenario that gives Bloomberg the nomination is easy to conceptualize (brokered convention, Bloomberg surging late/with momentum, moderates having many more delegates and votes than Bernie/progressives in sum), but kind of hard to imagine happening in 2020's version of the Democratic Party ... a bunch of party insiders giving the nomination to a billionaire would be hard on the GOTV effort.

OTOH, the rest of the field has a lot more in common with each other than they have with Bernie ... and if Bernie only ends up getting, say, ~30% of the popular vote, I think that's a pretty clear indication that the sizable majority party isn't where Bernie is on the issues. Even if he's singularly the highest vote getter, is it really "representative" to give him the nomination by default? If the rules only required a plurality and not a majority, there would be no threshold forcing a brokered convention ... it would just be whomever had the most votes wins -- whether that's 15% or 95%.
