His dad just had his 100th birthday party 2 months ago.. He was in great spirits , playing his harmonica ( He's an old school Baptist and partial to good ole songs like Old Rugged Cross, and How Great Thou Art but can play anything if you him few lines. My cuz said that Boots( We all call him Boots) snuck out of the house unbeknownst to his care taker, started up a three wheel electric scooter, and had an accident in his driveway. Broken hip, and shoulder...not good news for a guy 100 yrs old. A remarkable man... a real oudoorsman, and still lives in the house he built for his wife and family in 1960. He loved to work with wood in his garage until he cut off one of his fingers 3 years ago with his saw, which they took away. from him This doesn;t look good but if it gets him he went out on his own terms
