But to be fair, he was not the Republican Party establishment candidate. And I think there has never been a political party’s candidate that was ever rejected by that party’s establishment as Trump was. He was elected because his opponent became the embodiment of political corruption. And working Americans felt their politicians were not listening to them. They were tired of seeing jobs and intellectual property move overseas. A bit of a perfect storm. But the film flam man was successful. Both sides can take a share of that.
