True. IMO, it's better people think it's a close race. It helps turnout.

That said, the exchange of information is real time and with the news cycle changing so quickly due to technology / social media ... I don't think the polling science has caught up yet. The margin of error is bigger ... but like you said, does give a decent snap shot.
