Even as silly as the difference is. (he said that was a theory out there, not even an extreme one btw, not that it would miraculously disappear)

BTW many people believed that theory, that warm weather would kill off the virus, and many people still do. While that's apparently common for these types of viruses, we can't definitively say it will, or even count enough on it happening to just assume it will. Especially since it is being found in warmer weather areas.
