Well, the fed package supplements that with $600
So if the states can get it processed it should be enough to keep people afloat for now. In Virginia it's $378 a week. I'm torn between staying with FL or switching to VA. It's not so much the extra $100 a week as it is I just think VA will be able to handle it better.
If I understand the rules right, as long as you've worked in a state within the past 18 months you can claim in that state. I last worked in VA in October. I worked in FL from November until mid March. My permanent residence is in VA and I'm currently physically back in VA.
I went ahead and did the preliminary filing in VA last week when I realized what a shit show FL could be. I'm not eligible to claim funds until next week in VA. I managed to process the actual claim for the past two weeks (3/17-3-31) in FL but like I said above, everything is still pending on their system. If anyone has insight or advice on this (the multiple state aspect) I would gladly accept it. [Post edited by wahoo138 at 04/03/2020 08:10AM]
