failed to take this seriously at an early enough date (and act accordingly), don't look at January or maybe even early February in particular. At that point, if I try really hard to give the benefit of the doubt, it was still _somewhat_ possible that this wouldn't turn into what it now is (at least in my opinion).

The timeframe where things began appearing inevitable to most of us, is later in February- in particular as it relates to Italy. Once Italy passed the point of no return, (and with open travel between us and Italy), the outcome in the US became inevitable. We would succumb to the math of the virus.

At that point (if we want to pick a concrete date in the sand, for me it was Feb 21, when Italy began the previously unthinkable act of locking down the Lombardy region, and then for absolute certain, by March 8, when all of Northern Italy (including Milan) was shut down), anything uttered by a supposedly informed person that did not completely acknowledge the inevitable reality of what was coming, should absolutely be scrutinized and questioned as to how these conclusions could be possible.

Revisiting the timeline of the words and actions from Trump himself after these milestone moments, shows a complete failure of leading in accordance with the best information available.
