appear to be banking on it which is an incompetent way to manage expectations. What's Plan B if it doesn't work? And what happens to the markets? How will the country react? That's my issue.
If it's a last resort for the patient and the doctor prescribes it ... go for it. However, it's obvious there needs to be a lot more testing before it's ready for mass consumption.
The administration isn't communicating confidence. It doesn't appear to have a plan. It feels more desperation than a long term solution. What the hell is a social scientist advising a distinguished medical doctor about the efficacy of a particular drug? It looks like a shit show.
This is when the saying, "the inmates are running the asylum," is appropriate.
