There have been more people disenfranchised by voter scrubbing in just one
Presidential election than ALL documented in person voter fraud. In 2000 the state of Florida scrubbed their voting roles before the November elections using lists provided by Texas and other states to remove voters who had moved, died, and other legal acceptable reasons. Problem was that Florida did a really shitty job vetting those lists and ended up disenfranchising thousands ov voters who just happened to have a similar name to the people who legitimately needed to be removed. As I recall the state of Florida was completely controlled by the GOP! This is a tried and true method used by GOP for decades because it works. All that said I completely support a national voter ID (although any ID can be faked) and don't we already have citizenship requirements to vote?
