enjoy the times when there's actually interesting discussion on this board, but those are few and far between these days and usually one of the dumb asses shows up and derails it.

That brings us to the current state of this board. There was a time when the best part of this board was engaging smart conservatives, but they have either all left or become soft Democrats like Boca and Hool. Nowadays it's borderline impossible to have a productive conversation with someone who is a Trump supporter -- it's like arguing with a loudmouthed sports fan about their team -- so yes, it usually becomes a Trump-level schoolyard fight. I do participate and won't pretend I don't. I do actually get a laugh by making Trumpanzee fools like Klanny, Hooduh or HO Cakes my punk bitch -- so be it. I'd love to have substantive policy debates instead, but every time someone tries to do that it ends up a one-sided circle jerk or one of the loudmouthed idiots shows up and shitposts the good topic away. Not sure what to do about that, tbh. A lot of former good, interesting posters left. Others (myself included) fight back and embarrass the idiots. I get that it's not a great look but don't really take this forum that seriously tbh.

Any time you want to have a reasoned and thoughtful discussion though, I'm game. You seem like a pretty cool dude from what I gather.
