I think when looking at bad cops, there are two types:

1) Police brutality
2) Corrupt officers (i.e. paid to look the other way, steal drugs and resell)

The two types may get closer to 5 percent (1 in 20).

The amazing thing is how many smoke weed from my cop friend who is 72. Police forces are no longer using that as a deterrent.

Also, pass crimes do not stop it. If you are a reformed thief, then you are the best to determine who is a thief and how they are doing it. Same with reformed drug dealers, you know how it gets sold and moved. This is my cop friend saying it to me. He is one cool dude, and the kindest man I have met. He help my elderly dad at a moment notice. He helped my mentally ill brother when he needs help. I moved back close to home and the same.
