The groups call *themselves* Antifa- it's not an outsider or Fox label.
I think it's a lot more intentional and organized than you seem to think. Take Unicorn Riot, which is an affiliated media group, they were streaming from inside the Minneapolis police station, here's what they say about themselves-
--
NON-PROFIT INDEPENDENT MEDIA
Unicorn Riot is a decentralized, educational 501(c)(3) non-profit media organization of artists and journalists. Our work is dedicated to exposing root causes of dynamic social and environmental issues through amplifying stories and exploring sustainable alternatives in today’s globalized world.
Born from the Internet in 2015, our commercial-free platform operates non-hierarchically, independent of corporate or government control. Unicorn Riot spans across multiple US cities including Boston, Denver, Minneapolis, and Philadelphia. All of our financial support comes from grants and from you, our audience.
----
That doesn't mean there's a global conspiracy, just there's an intentional, decentralized and non-hierarchical media platform for the intentional, decentralized, non-hierarchical local groups of common ideology that collaborate and organize under the self-proclaimed moniker Antifa.
A lot of the confusion with how people seem to understand Antifa imo is indicative of the Fox/Trump era- Fox/Trump use them as a boogeyman, thus Laz thinks Antifa does not exist.
