Yes! See- wasn't that easy? Like Beerman said, this is a systematic issue

It's in our country's DNA. That means that even those that feel they are woke, have a lifetime of living in our society and most assuredly have issues with race that they probably don't realize or appreciate. It means that after a lifetime of being a black american a black person in our country has issues due to their race that have influenced the person they have become. It's time we stop pretending that these aren't issues.

What to do next isn't particularly clear. But to me, what to do FIRST is, and that is to acknowledge this is who we are as a country, be honest with ourselves and see where we can go from there.
