Here's the issue: All Americans are entitled to their political opinions...
as long as they don't promote hate and needless violence. Policies are meant to be debated. There's more than one way to skin a cat.
I consider myself moderate ... leaning right economically. That said, I have no problems listening to the left. Many of their ideas are to aid the vulnerable and support the perception of a strong middle class ... those are good things. Unfortunately, I don't believe they are very realistic. However, that's just my opinion. I'm fully aware I could be wrong. That's why I don't get passionate about policy. There's a lot of trial and error.
However, I crush Trump for other reasons than policy. He has no integrity. He lies all the time and attacks facts and logic. He can't lead. He takes no accountability. He divides rather than unite for his personal benefit. He flames hate. He's not transparent. He makes a mockery of our check and balances / rule of law. He's destroying the credibility of our institutions. He's a massive hypocrite. He's dumb. He bends at the knee to dictators.
Many moderates stayed silent until late last year. We're sick and tired of Trump's bullshit. A fish rots from the head down. Trump has no plan. He has no policy. He has no guiding principles except what's good for him. There's a reason why people are angry. In typical Trump fashion, he made America about himself in the middle of a recession, pandemic, and major social unrest. There's your reason why people are fed up.
