There is some similarity definitely and it isn't unprecedented in the US or

in Seattle. They will resolve it sooner or later. But meaningful change has generally started with protest. Whether or not you support it depends on the cause. This movement is in the street. Locally, that East Precinct has been a flashpoint for some time. I imagine that facility will be repurposed.
