What's this?

It is. It symbolizes white guilt leading poor blacks into the


promised land. Paying for our sins, so to speak. No personal responsibility required by the recipients.
This statue should be condemned by those conservative blacks ( Shelby Steele, etc) that believe the civil rights movement was sabotaged by white guilt, not by the current participants who believe just the opposite.
