Other than being an activist, what are his actual scientific credentials?
His Wikipedia page lists only the following under his education:
“Shellenberger graduated from the Peace and Global Studies (PAGS) program at Earlham College in 1993.”
So he doesn’t even have an undergraduate degree in any kind of science?
I have no doubt that within the climate science/environmentalist movement politics plays a role ... it does everywhere. If he wants to expose any corruption, covering up research, etc, then by all means he should. But his conclusions on climate science carry little weight with me ... he’s not a scientist; he’s an activist. I would apply that same logic to trying to find educated conclusions from most “activists.”
